My name is Samantha Gammons and I’m a sophomore at Morehead HIgh School. I am the vice president of my class. Most of my life has revolved around dancing. I’ll try any type of dance; I love to do it all. I have been dancing since I was 3 and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Everyday after school, my dance studio is the first place I go and I usually don’t leave until 8 or 9:00. I have dance competitions all the time and that's probably why I’m such a huge competitor. I can be really shy, but dance gives me the freedom of being able to express myself in a more comfortable way and that’s the best part about dance. I love dancing on stage in front of a crowd of people. I dance all the time, even at school I’ll run my dances over and over in my head. Dance is definitely my passion and I never want to give it up. I also cheer for my school. My favorite thing about cheerleading would have to be the stunts. I’m also an animal freak! I’m that person that will see an animal on the side of the road and will stop to pick it up. I’ve always dreamed of being a veterinarian and hopefully will be when I get older. I have just always cared for animals and always will. I’m obsessed with chocolate. I eat it all the time even though I know I shouldn’t. If I could choose any one food to live off of it would be chocolate, it’s just so yummy. I prefer talking to people face to face instead of using technology to communicate. I like being able to interact with the people I’m talking too. I have a fear of spiders and boats. I do not like spiders at all. I hate even the tiniest of spiders. I also will never go on a cruise because big boats in the middle of the ocean freak me out. I love laughing. If you can make me laugh then we will get along great together. I’d rather make everyone around me happy instead of myself. I like to help other people feel good when they're in a bad mood and I’ll do almost anything. I put all of my friends, family, and sometimes people I barely even know before myself. Sometimes I can be a pushover. I don’t like being mean to other people or hurting someone’s feelings and I forgive really easily. I just think it’s much better to forgive someone instead of holding a grudge. I can’t stand being in big crowds with a lot of loud noise. I hate it when people are pushing or shoving me and screaming right in my ear. I also hate being alone though. I want to be around people, but not too many. My grandma is definitely one of my best friends. I know that sounds kind of weird, but I can tell her anything and can trust her with everything. She always gives me the best advice. I don’t care what anyone thinks about me. I do what I want and what makes me happy instead of trying to fit in and do what’s cool. I’m a leader not a follower. I do what I think is right and not what everyone else thinks is right. Summer is my favorite season by far. I absolutely love the summer time. It’s hot and you can go swimming or to the beach. You can stay outside all day because the weather is so nice. Did I mention that I hate being a couch potato. I like to stay active and be outside. I don’t like being locked up in the house asleep all day. I’d much rather bum than dress up everyday. I don’t mind dressing up a few times, but I like to be comfortable instead. Now you pretty much know everything about me and who I am.
